Guitar lessons with Jaime Regan
With over over twenty years experience in both teaching and performing, Jaime Regan has toured and gigged both nationally and internationally as a solo singer/songwriter and as a guitarist and vocalist with a 1920s-style Old Time Appalachian group called So Last Century Stringband. He is also a guitarist in Brighton's top 1960s covers band The Parlophones. He has worked as the guitar teacher at Lewes New School and at Barcombe Primary School. He is CRB-checked (updated yearly), has public liability insurance and is a member of the Musician's Union.
Prior to becoming a full-time guitar teacher, Jaime was also an EFL classroom teacher for thirteen years in The UK and abroad, teaching students from all over the world for whom English was not their first language. This honed his skills in teaching patiently, making lessons fun and highlighted the importance of breaking a subject down to make it accessible to all types of learners.
Jaime teaches from his private studio in Ringmer.
Lessons cost:
